And, plenty of time for imaginative building!

Cowabunga is approaching quickly. If you are not familiar with Cowabunga, it is a variety show held at the Bigfork Playhouse in early April. Kids and adults perform small skits or singing, comedy, or magic acts. This is a significant source of donations for us and helps to keep our fees reasonable and our doors open. It is an amazing tool to showcase an integral part of our community, the kids at ACES! January - As we are working our way through January, we have met some obstacles: sickness and the weather. Overall, however, we have a good handle on things and are making plans for February. The kids are still "trying" out the activities. For those of you that have never been involved in Cowabunga, please make time at your next pick up to inquire with one of our friendly staff. February - We ask that parents and kids commit in February. This means paying the $20 participation/costume fee by February 5, 2024 and committing to at least one practice per week. March - The kids will audition in their respective groups on March 5 or 6th. The audition will take place at the Bigfork Playhouse and will be at 4:30 pm. It is imperative that kids attend the audition. April 9-12 - Rehearsals and Performance will be beginning on April 9-12 at the Bigfork Playhouse. Kids that have committed to participating in Cowabunga must be in attendance for ALL shows. Times will be announced after auditions. Wednesday - 4:00 - 4:50pm Thursday - 4:00 - 4:50pm PIANO Taught by Dr. Jordan Neimann Tuesdays - 3:45 - 4:45pm TWINKLE BELLS (Kinder group) Taught by the amazing Panda! Ongoing! |
