The NeedIt costs an average of $1,200 per child a year to provide a quality after school and summer program. Support from donors, grants and the community is imperative in order to meet the needs of the children and sustain our program for the future.
The FactsACES serves over 200 children at our site in Bigfork. Over 65% of ACES kids are eligible for the National Free and Reduced Lunch Program, which means they fall below the national poverty line, and receive after school care at ACES for free. The USDA reports that 1 in 5 Montana children experience hunger on a regular basis. ACES feeds the children a healthy dinner and snacks every day of our program.
The hours between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. are the peak hours for juvenile crimes and experimentation with drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and sex. Please DONATE TODAY to help us keep our youth engaged, fed, and safe! The Solution
